Dedicated to Rachel Doven (consider yourself warned) by Jolie Jordan
I see you, two years from now-
kneeling, crouching, breathless,
in a cheap run-down motel
licking the semen from some
faceless body while inarticulate
utterances float from his vile mouth.
You stand-
using your tattily-manicured fingers
to straighten black fishnet stockings
that had crept up your abused thighs.
He'll pretend to be dominant-
while counting out salacious bills
and placing them so pompously
in your outstretched palm.
You'll leave him there-
in the the once-white, now
yellowish stained walls,
sprawled out upon
the damp bed
smoking a vulgar cigar,
watching an old television set.
It's funny-
how the most unbalanced thoughts
of a scene that hasn't yet occured
can make my insides invert with delight.
