the master of the universe takes woodshop

by Cymbre Dolphay

I’m lost in thought again
about how I’d go about making
my own casket out of oak
and how my hair would look in
shades of blue and purple

wanderings of my cerebral
lead to a crush that a yacht
is harboring for me
and it’s younger brother
(the jet ski) that hated me

then there is the reindeer
that stands a good centimeter tall
woe to the sawdust he falls into
pushed over the edge
by the swirling of plaid

the knot in my neck is nervous
as it wonders about
whether or not I’d really
cut it out with a jigsaw

Author's Note: *giggles* Oh I like this one. If only for the many inside jokes that only myself and the guys that sit around me will ever fully understand.
