i could eat my morning cereal
with a cut wrist, bleeding down
until the milk in my bowl was as pink
as barbie's corvette, and you'd still say
"everything is going to be okay."

when has anything ever been okay,
for more than thirty seconds at a time,
the length of an orgasm on a hotel bed?

when have i ever been real to you?

You're right, this feels incomplete --and it is very good, so I hope you continue it. The breakfast blood and carb diet seems extreme.... that's probably why it appeals to me.
