watching the sliver of a moon
play hide and seek with clouds
above
the winking stars
keeping secrets of yore
to themselves
evolving decades ahead
of us
around us
stripping us
free of our grounded minds
not wanting to fathom the endless
possibilities in the great *out there*
pure energy
consciousness
travelling in a blink
of an eye
to be unbound from this harshness
from this
pollution
risking naught
gathering in a circle
in the druid ruins
chanting without words
without voice
without song
feeling the beating of the
universe
becoming one with it
becoming
at peace
embrace me with the likeliness
the knowledge of ancestry
teach me
what it is to love
to hate
to need
to breathe
to live
to die
to bleed
bleed
blood-letting
crack your whip upon my bodice
leave me the scars of your sting
make me feel alive
dropping upon the floor
the blue now turned red
touching it
grinding it
into the hardwood
seeing the stain turn orange
tasting it
inhaling it
salt down my wounds
needing the pain
only way to feel
deep inside
in me
