insecure by Traci Mabatswhy do I
feel the need to run
every time you step in
for the close touch
you seem so sure of yourself
instead of awkward
like this is
(be careful little hands, what you do)
And you leave me
feeling like Alabama
in the still and humid air
I hear the contellations
with false tongues
whispering tales of love and endearment
I see the passion reflected
in your eyes
glassed over
not seeing me
but the completion of
this endeavor 10/03/2003 Author's Note: work in progress? I dunno
