hollow
is the heart which
feigns contentment
while shattering promises

barren
is the hand which
continues searching
while ignorant of treasures
within its grasp

forgiven
is the soul which
admits to fault
while seeking a hope
it once abandoned

enlightened
is the mind which
accepts the wisdom
while striving to create
a better existence
