A Latent Thankyou by Karen Michellebodies clamouring desperation heart beat racing racing race- i n g... to capture this moment of nothingness in your box of memories
shutter speed is set at maximum tonight as you wait to create your own 30 seconds of fame
(storm in a teacup, whipping up a frenzy)
your falsity enrages me the love between your lips seeps out of your deceitful stomach with the ease of a sin filled Eve
it's original, this desire to staple yourself to someone else's success
and now that nothing has gone strictly to plan, you vomit your words into another fanatic's hungry mouth and cut off this golden boy's air supply with your thighs - once trembling in anticipation.
standing on the edge of the world, i throw my tears back to the salt of the sea, back to their maker and lament for the glory of the boy they will never recognise.
tonight, my body is choking on your poisonous affection and i force myself to consume it all - to save his soul as a token of
appreciation.
