man they're already keeping me awake at night...

have sleeping inside of my mind.
sometimes, they wake to laugh at me
for having not yet caught their daddys
eye. they chant "your eggs aren't going
to live forever, ya know." i know.
"he isn't going to be around forever,
ya know." i know. "we can't wait forever,
ya know." i know.
i know.
i know.
and then,
suddenly,
they fall back to sleep.
