Sanity,
like maturity,
sensibility
and sex.
Is,
in general,
highly overrated.
It has never been proven
that those claimed sane
by popular culture
are
1.) any better off
and
2.) actually sane by any other standard.
While on the topic of pop culture
I need to note
that maybe we should
come up
with a better name
for so called
"Common sense"
for I find it a rarity among my fellow humans.
I suppose many of you will call this
just another exhibit
of the cynicism
of
"my generation"
Though I must admit I am aged far beyond
and not nearly as far
as most of those I know who are in
"my generation"
So maybe I am a cynic
but I highly doubt that is due to the era of my birth
and find it more likely
it is due to the parentage of my birth
but then again who am I to say much of anything
I am only the writer
you are the real person of importance here
you dear reader
are giving these words life
and meaning
neither of which they had
before you
but which they shall keep long after you
since they shall live in your mind for a while
since you'll read this and think
"I'll never remember this"
which inevitibly means you will
so have fun with these utterly random and scattered thoughts
and see where you take them today

Author's Note: hmm not sure where this was going or if it got there but I'm sure that it will aggrevate some people which will be fun in and of its own right I suppose
