I forgot to forget by Karen Michellei lost these words
as i was typing them
and though i struggle
to recollect
nothing is as bright
as my first exhale
of sullen creativity.
this world is spinning
faster than usual today
- beyond seconds and minutes
even milliseconds
or some dissection
of the invisible.
it is only liquid
between my fingers,
air flicking hungrily
at thin strands of hair.
yesterday i knew
where i wanted this
mechanical self and
literary portrait to head -
destiny designated -
but some mornings
(we'll call it friday)
reason dissolves into
the atmosphere
and rationality gets
soaked up in the horizon.
I'm not finding myself
in words anymore
just striking them out
and counting back to
a time when i was
nothing more than
u n d e f i n e d.

Posted by Ashok Sharda on 10/03/03 at 03:15 AM oh! well, And I think not to think. The observing self seems alert and watchful. The known ought to be denied if one is 'counting back to
a time when i was
nothing more than
u n d e f i n e d.'The KNOWING will have to emerge wordless. The unknown cannot have a language. Brilliant. The metaphysical approach is distinct, though subtle.
