dark clouds loom over my head

i don't know whether to laugh or cry

my laughs just aren't as hearty as they used to be

my tears come

although no one is here to dry them

i've come to find where my allies lie

but still turncoats linger in their midst

where am i to precede?

i stand here

looking down on all your faces

wondering if anything is worth it anymore
