i can't help but keep thinking of your broken friendship

never would i have thought you two

would stop being friends

he said you walked in and your hands were visibly shaking

then you told him to never contact you again

jeff sounded so lost and forlorn when i talked to him

i couldn't help when tears came to my eyes

when he told me how sorry he was

for what he did to you

if he could go back

re-think things through

he would have never have done it

we both know how thoroughly manipulative she is

jeff was just an unfortunate pawn

in her defiant game to afflict you

this is what she wanted

to ruin everything and everyone who cares for you

she tried to do it to me

now she's moved onto jeff

you have to find a place in your heart to forgive him

it's all her

we know this

he just made the wrong choice

we're human, we do that

i can't sit back and watch the two of you fall away from each other

as if you never cared

that isn't you

jeff's heart broken

you two are the best of friends

there's got to be some way to fix this
