Film of Hell

by Oliver Drewman

There is no fire in hell
And heaven is like a tomb
For there is no one good enough
To ever rent a room
So down where all the green grass isn't
Where all of us are going
We all sit inside a theater
Where our life is the movie showing
Playing for shortest eternity
Over again our error multiplied
Seen from every person's view
Our spoken words, peirced hearts that died
The very next scene before the next page
The actions taken ever wrong
Things we did and never knew the repercussions
The living movement that killed a song
So we all walk our lives so stupid
Thinking we are going to a better place
When all we'll see for eternity
Is our failures in every place
There is no fire in hell
And heaven is like a tomb
For no one will ever be good enough
To rent the smallest room

Sounds pessimistic but the realities are such. We are all so used to the beaten path and so mechanically.
