beautiful day (easter at andi's)
by Michele Schottelkorbtoday was a beautiful day
trees and limbs they did sway
full of laughter and love
as pure as a dove
a glorious day, I will say
went to our friends, we did
for an egg hunt, the young ones did hid
gleeful smiles around
couldn't find one frown
life's problems, for once, we did rid
turkey and fixings did show
their happy old selves with a glow
pink purple and red
eggs hid in a shed
a trumpet of life we did blow
I'm happy today for this rhyme
a precious and beautiful time
with family we love
they fit like a glove
the bells of happiness did chime
