We Fly

by Charles J Hannan

A word at play
Slipping of the tongue
Slide close to me
And mouth our expressions
To each other
We dance as one fire
In moonlight happiness
Careless romantics
Gleaming as crome in midday
Forever embracing love
Life with no end in sight
Caramel-sweet kisses
Locked together as one
While melting touches
Burn desires in ember flesh
As Earth is but a speck beneath us
Fly high
We Fly
