Twelth Night Vanilla Pudding Rebirth

by A.M. Demarco

Calaco moon smiles
shakes the icicles from my shoulders

Dodging patrols of occupied territory
firefly torchlight leads the way

Angelic choirs spin off into the limitless
bear witness
written in majestic light
they bounce from limb
to limb

Lovly leafy lady sentinels
all too willing
lift up thier skirts to me
bring me back home
glad
for one of the budding multitudes
is reclaiming the silent language

Three generations of special agents, we
charged with protection
one of our own:
freshly annointed Baby Blue
crimson still wet between his eyes

For tonight he must feel the weight of his footsteps
tonight he must hear the unspoken unfold
tonight
he must realize
it was always here, dormant
waiting to be acknowldged
accepted
cultivated
