From the ashes of its former self
the pheonix rises again
to be a new living version
again a bright burning vision of vitality.
So it was for me,
raised by those who did not believe,
brought up with out the Bible,
without Jesus
without a G_d,
without faith.
And I broke out on my own,
and I was berrated for it,
and I found my faith
my G_d,
my Jesus.
I learned to love the Bible,
I learned to believe.
So from the ashes of my past
I came to life again
life in Christ,
reborn into the world
From the ashes of my former self
I was born again
into a bright burning vision of vitality.
