dont look different...

by Melinda Sordino

sit, read, listen. stop running and playing and learn. is learning a game? oh no my child it is listening to those who are smarter and better and trying to be just like them. but i want to pick daisies and run in the wind. oh no child you must sit here and learn. dont dance, your dancing is different and we dont want anyone to stand out. what you want is a clone, what i have tried to be. i have failed so many times. i look, i act, i sound different than the other girls. i will worry not about it, i believe that somewhere out there people care more about the passion, the feeling, and less about the clones. and someday i will find them...
