staying up to god awful hours,
just being there.
Coming around,
at just the right times,
to hold my hand.
You calmedthe nightmeres,
something no one could do.
You made me feel comfortable,
and confident,
and beautiful.
You made me feel.
You became one of my best friends.
And I hate you for that!
You are so beautiful.
a statuesque vision on manhood.
No woman could see you,
and not want you.
You are kind,
and caring,
and perfect.
You are one of the best guys out there.
And I hate you for that!
How can you be both?
a best friend
and a sex symbol?
All I want
and all I need?

care for you as a friend
i cannot tell you these things,

in a hell of desire
in a quagmire of confusion

Author's Note: Dedicated to the indecision that arises when you realize you are in love with your best friend and you don't know how to tell him..... best I can tell you is take a chance it seems to be working so far for me.
