Show up an hour too late
then be left to call it fate..
Always show up and clean your plate
and never forget your first date..

or they will come back to kick your ass.

Remember just this once, to take that shot.
Remember this lifetime that has spanned
Remember all the things you planned.
Show up late just to appease them again
Show up late like it’s not committing a sin.
