No beauty (My own terms)

only by handbook and
social behavior, guidelines for young girls,
beauty for doe-eyed emptiness.
Scissor kick, turn the scissors
on yourself,
cut your hair, paint your face on
that blank space....
Easy manual for acceptance,
beauty is in the eye of the masses
and I follow
to the letter

"they are just not enough" and then when they have issues of self esteem ... they are labelled as troubled. but how did they get that way? is it really THEIR issue ? or is it a tool of society to knock women down ... ? |
