Almost forgotten, now that you're here
Impossible to imagine I've made it this far
I was so empty for so many years
Now tears of joy flood my eyes
Replacing tears of sorrow
You have filled my empty life
And given me all my tomorrows
Life has brought us together
We've passed the test of time
Now we have each other
I'm yours and you are mine
Miles may separate us
Circumstance beyond control
We've forged a bond never to be broken
Combining both of our souls
Welcome to my life my daughter
Welcome to all it can be
Welcome to my love my daughter
Without you there is no me
