Ad What??

by Kalikala Smith

One morning, about ten past two,
there was a (noun) and he was quite blue.
A(n) (adjective) (noun) of most terrible grace,
stood above him and (verbed) in his face.
Now how could he stand it?
Whatever could he do?
(adverb) he smiled and started to pace.
In his great (noun) he thought up a plan...
one that would free him of this (adjective) (noun).
He whipped up the courage,
with a fork and a knive,
and (verbed) himself free,
of his terrible strife.
Who knew he was so (adjective)?
No one could believe his (adjective)!
And as evening fell, about ten past two,
he settled in his (noun) and slumbered as (adverb as could be.
