My mind’s so discombobulated these days.
I'm always at a loss for what to do or say.
I once had dreams but they all faded
and have taken the place forgotten designated.
I thought once for myself and paid the price
so now I look at the world in a light, not so nice.
I don’t bend over backwards like I used to
since the returns ended up always being so few.
Blood is thicker than water they say
too bad it doesn’t have a leg to stand on today…

and the other side is the one that never plays fair..
