Re-Entry by Siri LipscombLying back down
On the empty rumpled bed
Floating in the memory of him
His scent, his aura, his essence
Lingering visions of their
Midnight joining fed her
Solitary writhing for awhile
Finding that too
Pallid a substitute
For the sweet loving
Reality of him she rose
Rinsing and showering
Washing away the remnant
Reminders of him
Watching the fantasy pheromones
Foaming, erupting and draining away
Then emerging into sunlight
To reclaim herself
