Waiting on Forgiveness by Becca Morton
I'm sorry that it happened
But I can't erase the past
At Night I sit alone and wonder
How did the whole thing last?
No more smiling faces
No more one way streets
All of them are dead ends
We go back and forth from where they meet
The memories are hurtful
I never expected this
And all the while...
I'm thinking of what I missed
The truth will never click
I'm not accepting it
So if you decide to forgive me
I'll be here waiting...
Waiting for you to realize
You are the one who made the mistake
Because you not forgiving me
Is more than I can take 08/29/2003
Author's Note:
yea - I dont like the ending much but Itll do! If anyone has suggestions on how I can fix it... That would be great... Now The story behind the poem... Some know what it means - others are clueless... It should stay that way... But just incase YOU know - I'm Sorry....
