I want to run to the edges of the Earth
I want to feel it in my hands
and know its peace
understand its violence
comprehend and believe in its cycles
its death and rebirth
its beautiful wholeness
in the dirt
in a seed
in fruit
in a seed
in the dirt,
and hear it call to me

and learn to listen.
