sleipnir (norse acrostic 2)

by Emily G Myers

Swift and angry
Leaving behind
Every other in dust
I lose sight
Perfect in his own right
No other to compare
In and around and over
Riding always on wind

Author's Note: This acrostic isn't as detailed as the first, but it gets its point across. Sleipnir is the eight-legged horse of Odin. He's also the son of Loki... who, being a man, is oddly Sleipnir's mother.
