Reflection of the Journey

by Adrian Calhoun

Who knows what tomorrow holds,
or where any road eventually leads.
The stars come out at night,
the sun lights the road by day.

Whatever comes,
and all that is entailed along the way,
wherever life leads,
it must be faced with a clear mind
in order to leave that place and time
with greater knowledge.

Wisdom, and strength,
are gained through adversity.

There are many dark days in life.
In the end, they pass by,
just like the bright ones.

Amen, Adrian! Positive and so true. Reminds me of the scripture that says, "This too shall pass away." God is with us whatever comes or goes. The only solid foundation we have! I like this very much.

How very true and well written this is. A wise man once told me that "God is good ALL the time." This is one of my favorites of yours. There is just something about the refreshing truth in this. A truly wonderful work. Mrs."C"

Only someone who has weathered the bad times and kept the faith can speak like this. Good one Adrian!
