Death of A friend by Courtney B ChilesHe seemed to
Be a normal teen,
No one knew how bad
It really did seem.
He went out in the morning
And seemed to be okay,
Only he knew that he
Was going to throw his life away.
At first he did not know
How he should take his life,
He wondered if it would be quicker
To do it with a knife.
It was as is he never had
The chance to unwind,
No matter how much he tried
He could not get dying off his mind.
His family did not know
The time was drawing near,
They did not know they would
Soon be shedding many tears.
He was trying to decide
When he should go,
He never brought up what he thought
Because he would have been told no.
He started to think that a gun
Would be the best way,
It seemed like it would be the
Quickest so he would die right away.
The time had come
To finally move on,
He does not know how much
He will be missed when he is gone.
He picks up the gun
Then aims it at his head,
With one shot
He is dead.
There is nothing anyone
Can do or say,
To change what happened
On this horrible day.
He wanted to do this
When no one was a round,
There is nothing he can do as he
Watches his blood pour to the ground.
Now he is gone and there
Is no way to bring him back,
Was the only reason he did this is
Because no one would ever cut him any slack?
As his friends and family
Go to the funeral and cry,
It will be hard for them
To say their last good-bye.
Right now it is hard not
To picture his face,
No one in the world will
Ever be able to take his place.
He was known for
Being a great friend,
All his death did was lead
His life to a tragic end.
They put a great
Guy into his grave,
It is too bad that his
Life they could not save.
He is someone that
Will always be loved,
One can only hope that he
Is in heaven above.
