curious little lady

by Michele Schottelkorb

curious little lady

thinks deep thoughts

plays with her toys

with my heart, I have bought

my little angel

stares deep in my eyes

treasures each moment

and looks to the skies

“Audrey, my dear

you precious tiny child

learn from your mother

be free and be wild

take nothing for granted

give all that you can

be kind to all creatures

every woman and man

judge not, but listen

to the stories of old

paint your world a portrait

colours pink silver and gold”

curious little lady

full of love and of life

grow strong, grow proud

be a mother and wife…

Author's Note: my precious daughter... from having her in my life, it is amazing the GOOD tributes of mine (few as they can be at times) i wish for her to embrace as well...

There is nothing more precious than a child. Your wonderfilled verse holds the light. Peace...
