To A Point...

by J. P. Davies

V1: I remember beautiful
A time for life's fires
Cells Imploding
Passion driven pyres

Cold granite beach
Cold salt water
just me...with you
rising sun's daughter

Just in time for reflection
but also for searchings
for sweet futures with you
apparitions of sure things

You let me know
from before to today
that you still might love me
anyway

C: I could run to you
and close my eyes
and see my whole future
to a point
to a point
I could chase a dream
and spin away
the sword flashes swiftly
to a point
to a point

V2: There was a time
you were to me
a singular
vast entity

You showed me soft
you spoke of light
I tasted bliss
with you at night

There was no time
you let me fall
Want you to know
about it all

You were the one
who showed in me
a plethora
of opportunity

And when time came
that it hit the floor
Don't pretend you don't love me
anymore

C:
V: These tears at night
I cry for you
I still dream
you love me too

And days of sun
and sin and passion
have never quite
gone out of fashion

You scream at me
to let you go
You hold me too
don't you know?

The world has turned
but not left me here
You in my blood
your my worst fear

And if time comes
and your still not mine
I'll still wait for you calling me
anytime

painful and yet so beautiful, you let the world know so much through your words...
