sunset behind volcano

by Lindsay Sanders

Pink and purple rays
Of sunlight quickly fading
Will linger here

Author's Note: I was inspired by maybe the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen on my missions trip to Chile last week. The sun was setting behind a snowy volcano, and the sky was so colorful.

Nicely captured and leaves open the suggestion that the "here" is the image of it captured in this piece as well as lingering in your memory.

Beautiful sunsets do linger in the mind and spirit. Congratulations on POTD!

very grand and rare vision... we don't usually get to see volcanoes with our sunsets :)
