Mr Right

by Holly H Dunne

Protected by a bubble lies a little lost soul
She's clutching the only rose that this world has not stole
Petals of the purest snow, unblemished by the rain
And none have been tainted by pity or shame
But they could be tinted like daisies in the Spring
By pink kisses of light, dawning as angels sing
The keeper of this light is the one i seek to find
And then my little lost soul will have a mate to bind

And when one enters the bubble, declaring to be the Keeper
I gather all my blossoms and invite him to come in deeper
And when he like all the rest, revelas his inner light
The petals are left tarnished, and are black, no longer white
With a piece of my soul, he then leaves my heart
Leaving me to piece all back together, part by part
He was not the one who guards the secret
The last rose is still mine and he cannot keep it

And I know because the fellow keeper dwells behind these eyes
That empathy is the magic spell so the flower never dies
And I must find this sorcerer before it gets too late
Because my little lost soul needs to find her soul mate.
