Words of Wisdom by Matt ForgetAsk me if I care
When I listen to your stories
Who hit whom when
The toy was smashed to pieces
What is the point
If you tell me the grass is green
When we are sailing the oceans
Or are stranded on the furthest sand dune
Would it matter
What smoky the bear says
When you are spraying wood
With water from a nearby lake
Fired by an act of nature
But remember to listen
To your first grade teacher
Because ABCs and 123s
Dont come from and encyclopedia
Or your Websters Dictionary
Do you expect more
From your average Joe
To predict the future
Of your portrait life
So tell me your stories
About your smashed up toy
Lying in the grassy green oceans
Near the furthest sand dune
And dont forget the bear is right
So control nature by owning a nearby lake
Concentrate on ABCs and 123s
Instead of Koom By Ya
And never go to a fortune teller
Save your money for those new shoes. 07/23/2003 Author's Note: Wierd? yes....crazy? yes.....deep? could be...
