Mended Frames by Matt ForgetFuck the days where your insides cry
Where supports weaken and die
The joists of which hold you together
Snap and splitter throughout the air
Nails and spikes deepening into your back
But no matter
Fuck the days where your insides cry
Put your structures back together
From the broken pieces that surround you
Super glue your life back together
Staple your ends to one another
Never letting go
To only matter
And fuck the days where your insides cried. 07/23/2003 Author's Note: Pardon the F word....It just fit the poem at the time...

Posted by Lori I Wolfe on 07/28/03 at 05:54 PM Alot of anger in this one ... I think that there are times when anger helps restore the soul rather than to just sit in the dark with self pity. Anger can be a positive fuel if vented into the right channels. Great job ... and yes I agree the F word works in this. |
