summer's descent
by Olivia Weinkeinsummer is quickly leaving you behind
smoking a cigarette, traveling in a
dirty truck down I-55. laughing in
cackles while saying "to hell with that"
but refusing
refusing to look behind her
for fear she just might turn back.
