I saw you last,
Perhaps, that year
The sky turned
Volcanically gray:

Mystical sunset
Shadows projected
Jagedly upon
Our heavens.

But now we stand
Face to face,
Physically,and
Though intrigued,

I hesitate,
Looking heavenward,
Lest my first
Step be awry.
