Smiles shine brighter in the morning
Plans begin
and sleep ends
Is this what we need?
It's crazy
we'll see soon
What else is there?
There's so much lacking
but we keep on smiling
"And how are you doing today?"
says one
"Just fine," said the other
The outer layer is too good
too good at hiding
hiding what's inside
Don't tip your hat at me
like every day is better than it's yesterday
"Top of the morning to you"
