Bang, boom
crash go the drums
hi-hat snaps
volume cranked to 10 on the guitar
feedback squealing from the amp
riff out a distorted power chord
a wave of sound blasts off the stage
the crowd screams and jumps in frenzy
they recognize this song
will we play it right?
will we mess it up?
can we do it justice?
I scream lyrics through the mic
"To Getchoo....UH HUH!!"
The last chord fades as I damp my strings
The crowd goes wild
the drums kick up another beat
from someone elses songs...
