lifeless

by Ginette T Belle

you suck up all the energy around you
and this awkward potency is bleeding through your skin
so I am as small as the pebble at my feet
skimming across the black ocean
melting into its vastness
nothing but a stone
sinking
heavy
with
woe

this is precisely what lifeless is... you have such the knack for realism, and no mushy stuff... blessings...
