Loneliness

by Max Bouillet

Loneliness is an
orchid
in a funeral arrangement
sent by mistake

no one
liked.

I felt very sad when I got to the end of that poem, so I guess that means it had its intended effect. Its short, but very striking

Ouch. This one stings. Apt metaphor though, as usual with your work.

You're a genius. There's no doubt.

Having associations with both sex and death, this orchid provides a poignantly ambiguous reference. A consummate & condensed example of subjective definition epitomising an excellent series Max.

Sad, and to the point. Your economy of words got right to the point.Powerful. Excellent read!
