Older

by Alan Mahood

Let me kiss you and
Later you can tell me
If his lips are
Sweeter.
When it is time to
Go you will only
Be sorry that we must
Part, and
Then you can tell me if
His arms held you better,
If he made you happier
To be a woman.
Let our eyes join as we
Make love and
Fall with me into the
Dark depths and warm
Currents within
Where our souls unite
And you will go to places
Undreamed of, and
Will know why I
Say older is
Better.
