It's All In My Head

by Jersey D Gibson

Stone walls do not a prison make,
nor flesh or bone a cage.
All it takes is a straight razor,
to let out my rage.

The helplessness of lonliness,
makes the tunnels' light dimmer.
Playing Russian roulette with an automatic,
my chances keep getting slimmer.

I feel like crosshairs are on my heart,
and I'm in the snipers' sights.
Can the last one please try to remember,
to turn off the lights?

Dude, this is some powerful writing. I sincerely hope your only writing out your frustraition and not seriously thinking of doing what you write. It is not worth it. If it's any help knowing, we all have moments such as these, but these moments are what build character. They can also teach you how strong you really are. I know loneliness sucks, I have spent the majority of my life alone, eventually it does get better my friend. Any time you need to bend an ear or vent or whatever, don't hesitate to call on me man. Keep the Faith...
