just for the record,
he didn't break my heart.
only cracked it in a place or
two.

and just for the record,
i never truly loved him. i was
just bored and needed something
to do.

he was there
and would hold my hand when i
wasn't quite myself, when i needed
someone near.

and just for the record,
he could have been anyone,
he could have been anyone

HE COULD HAVE BEEN ANYONE.

but he had to be him
the one who left me here.

and i'm finding him harder to forget these
days.
