I'm sitting on the roof of this slate shingle 3 story house,White wood siding, small back yard, alot like the one I lived in as a kid.. Well the house is overlooking a nice little patch of city in the vally, complete with a glowing orange and pink sign.. It flashes Velvet Crush.. proabbly a bar sign...
Well I'm sitting up there, staring into the sky.. When a buddy of mine, Paul comes out of the window beside me and says that aliens are attacking the earth! As I look over the house, I can see a huge sphere of a spaceship moving over the cityscape behind my house...
I'm psyched...and so is Paul .(yeah, right.. you can tell I'm dreaming)at least until we hear somethings flying over the house..the whole house is shaking, and red and yellow lights are flashing in the windows..
So we bust out the back door... and there they are.. We start trying to attack them, but they just whip our ass... but like some scoobydoo episode or something, Paul grabs his watergun and shoots them with a super soaker..
that's when we figure out they can't handle contact with water..
So I grab the hose and start kicking some serious alien butt.. there must have been like 20 or 30 of them..

quick note, The aliens would melt down into a neon green goo.. made a huge mess..I remember getting mad that I was gonna have to clean it up later..

Well as we run up stairs into the house, to see where the alien mothership is, we hear huge jet sounding things flying.. We get to the roof and the mothership is just flying over head... It fires a huge beem weapon at the Velvet crush sign and paul and I cheer... We hated the velvet crush sign.. always kept us up at night..
So we're all standing there, and then a huge nuke goes off down in the valley, where the city is... We see the flash and the cloud.. we know whats comming.. So we cheer!

The blast hits pretty quick... but I still get to see the alien ship blasting the hell outta the city and surrounding mountains, even tho the nuke pretty much destroyed anything that was in the area....
