Fate and Realization

by Max Bouillet

Fate is a bucketÂ…
slowly leaking
into itself.

Realization is reserved
for those precious droplets
in freefall
that have just broken free
and have yet to return.

Oh, I like this. Love the sense of free-falling freedom the 2nd verse implies, even though the known end is inevitable.

This 'dictionary' is incredible. Amazing thoughts presented here. I feel about as creative as a brick in comparison.

Wow, how simplistically presented in this analogy yet so deeply goes the explanation; a never-ending cycle of realization of fate. DEEP!!

This reminds me of The Matrix! The Matrix is the bucket leaking into itself, the droplets in freefall are those who have escaped The Matrix, who return to free the rest of the droplets. This is philosophica humana expressed in poetry. Great thinking, great writing, and great thanks for sharing this with us, Max. (Or should I call you Morpheus now?) {m}
