Crash and Burn (lyric)

by Holly H Dunne

If I'm never alone, how come I'm always lonely?
If I'm never needing, how come I'm always bleeding?
If I always know which words to say
How come I never find my way?
If I always know which road to turn
How come I always crash and burn?

If I know the flower's dying, how come my eyes keep on crying?
If I know that goodbye is where we're going, how come rivers keep on flowing?
If I swim through the waters with such ease
How coem I flutter in the breeze?
If I always seem to get the things I yearn
How come I always crash and burn?

If I'm never hungry, how coem I'm always craving?
If I'm always in control, how come my heart's not behaving?
If I'm always happy dancing
How come I'm not romancing?
If I always know then how come I don't learn
The reason I always crash and burn?

Wonderful lyrical poem; good effort to rhyme those and yet keep making deep sense.
