That Girl Who Slashes Her Arms by Holly H DunneAnger at failed hatred gnawing to get out
Quietly seeths throug the bleeding, swollen pout
As more blood tears fall, more emotions are awoken
Struggling to escape, to run from things they've broken
A thousand new drops from a thousand new eyes
Carved into her skin to bleed the tears she cries
A scortching scarlet sunset, the ocean has run dry
A hollow, empty space, filled only with goodbye
Gently caresses the emotions etched on her outer shell
Feels her racing heart from where the crimson rain drops fell
Her secret betrayed by the silent cry of her self harm
"Look! There goes that girl who slashes her arms." 06/27/2003 Posted on 06/27/2003 Copyright © 2024 Holly H Dunne
