Pursuit of Dreams

i walk down the aisle

leading the line to the stairway

the stairway to heaven

we each climb those stairs

receiving our ticket to a better place

it was something unpredictable

but in the end turned out just right

and i did have the time of my life

now we all say goodbye to high school

in pursuit of a better life

of our dreams

I love the poem, but as soon as you mentioned "stairway to heaven" I couldn't shake that zepplin song out of my head.
